BALLOONS AT EVENTS & PARTIES

Since I began twisting I've performed at countless birthday parties, community events and school carnivals. I've made thousands of balloons and posed for hundreds of pictures but despite many requests... people almost never send me pictures. I guess they're shy?

I'm usually to busy making balloons to take pictures so I finally enlisted the help of a good friend with a great camera and an even better eye. The slide show below is due entirely to his effort and I hope these pictures will give you a better sense of what it is I do. I like to make hats, costumes and weapons that can be played with. At birthdays I usually start with balloon animals (only because that's what people expect) but rounds two & three are always the more fun, interactive toys. Toddlers generally don't get as much out of balloons as older kids & adults... You'll notice no one pictured here is under five years old.

Please note: I'm still figuring out how to add images to this site (I'm a balloon artist not a web designer) more are on the way. Please excuse the "bugs."

LARGE BALLOON SCULPTURES

Large balloon sculptures are great for store windows or events that need a central point of interest like gallery shows, banquets or grand openings.

The sculptures created below were done with a technique called "weaving" in which balloons are literally woven together much like weaving a basket. They can be very impressive but woven structures take time... and time equals money.

Because every commission is different I obviously don't have set prices for them but as wth all my services I promise to get you the most value for your dollar. There are no limitations to the possibilities or to your choices. I can be asked to create anything and will always work with you to find a balance between what you want and what you can afford.

Please consider that woven sculptures are huge. I'm commissioned to make table toppers, centerpieces and other similar items for display but people often underestimate the scale of the weaving technique... It never hurts to ask but particularly in the case of buying in bulk (like gift-bag stuffers for instance) smaller is better and more economicle.
